Lyndsey (Medders) Fennelly
Lyndsey Fennelly is a giver; a passionate advocate for the next generation and creates meaningful interactions with each experience. She aspires to a life well lived and building the human spirit each day.
Lyndsey (Medders) Fennelly was an All-American point guard at Iowa State (2007) who was drafted in the WNBA (Indiana Fever). She has since trained 40,000 athletes across North America in private, clinic, and camp settings. Regarded as one of the top skill trainers, she uses her experience in mental health, leadership training, business building, and basketball skill development to create unparalleled experiences. Tom Braun
Tom Braun is a winner, a competitor, and a leader. His coaching and teaching experience are vast and his ability to connect with young people is unparalleled. Mr B adds significant value to the team as a lifelong student, masterful coach, and spirited teacher.
Mr. Tom Braun (Mr. B) is a native New Yorker and a 37-year teaching/coaching veteran in K-12 Iowa Schools and is currently serving as a Student Supervisor with the Iowa State University Educator Preparation Services Program in Ames. He has taught/coached/supervised in a variety of classroom settings at all grade levels, various subjects and on multiple courts and fields, including cross country, football and track, but HOOPS was always his first passion. The opportunities spent with Lyndsey sharing the court for the past 13 years together have primed his well for this new opportunity as he enjoys his "retirement" WITH KIDS! He is present to serve, develop and design for them and in them the character, communication, promise and skills basketball has offered him. Mr. B and his wife reside in Jefferson and have one son, who played basketball at Simpson College, and is now earning his Master's Degree in Sports Psychology, Human Performance and Kinesiology at SIUE in Illinois.

Blake Sandquist
Blake is a coach, a lifelong student of the game, and a passionate influencer who will use his college coaching background to elevate the games, minds, and lives of players he works with.
Blake Sandquist is in his third season as the Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC), where he has achieved an impressive record of 63-15. His tenure includes leading the team to a 2024 ICCAC Championship and securing a 5th-place finish at the National Tournament.
Before joining DMACC, Sandquist served as the Associate Head Coach at William Penn University, amassing a remarkable 295-74 record. During his 11 seasons, William Penn qualified for the NAIA National Tournament 10 times, including three Final Four appearances. Under his guidance, 17 players earned All-American honors, and 22 went on to professional basketball careers.
In addition to his coaching achievements, Sandquist has been training athletes across the Midwest for over 15 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration and Business Management (2011) and a master’s degree in Business Leadership (2013), both from William Penn University.
Sandquist and his wife, Kayla, have three children, Grayson, Hudson, and Briar.
Diante Garrett
Diante is the ultimate point guard - constantly making the people around him better. He is a proven winner, a masterful teacher, and has a wide experience of playing and now coaching the game.
Diante was a 4 year starter for the Iowa State men’s basketball program. He averaged 10.7 points, 4.8 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game over the course of his career.
Diante had a long and successful professional playing career (13 seasons) which included championships in Croatia, Greece, and Italy and all conference honors in the Japanese league.
Diante is a current Iowa State men’s basketball assistant coach covering multiple roles including player development, scouting, and recruiting. He is married with 2 kids and lives in Ames, IA.
